It’s almost the end of October, and porches across the country are adorned with jack-o-lanterns, spider webs, and other spooky decorations, all in anticipation of a procession of trick-or-treaters.
Halloween is fun and festive for children of all ages, but it can be dangerous as well. To help keep your family of witches, warlocks, and wizards safe this Halloween, follow these 7 tips:
Visibility should be the top priority when you take your family trick-or-treating. You want to see vehicles, and you want them to see you. Bright colored costumes and reflexive tape help achieve this, but you should always be on alert and stick to sidewalks and designated crosswalks.
Safety is important when you’re out trick-or-treating and at home, too.
