Anthem Blue Cross Cyber Attack may affect you

by Mike Randles on Feb 5, 2015

Anthem Blue Cross announced today that a sophisticated cyber attack exposed up millions of current and former policy holders information.

Anthem revealed that hackers did not get payment or credit card information, but were able to access “Personally Identifiable Information” including names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, home address, E–mail address, and employment information.

Working with the FBI and Cyber experts,  Anthem will be sending notification to every customer affected.  They will offer a choice of 3 free credit monitoring services, and credit repair options if needed

Customers can view more info at the following sites: & a good FAQ can be seen at

If you are a current or former Anthem customer – Beware of e-mail scams (as they may have your e-mail) Keep an eye out on your credit accounts, and look for information from Anthem in the Mail.
