Dental insurance is a specialty we offer. However, navigating the dental insurance minefield is both daunting and overwhelming. We can make it easy as we specialize in health and dental insurance for individuals as well as small businesses (2-50 employees), self employed, and medium groups (less than 100 employee).

Types of Plans

For Dental Insurance there are two major types of plans.

• HMO plans generally provide high benefit, less choice, and known co-payments. For the most part, they offer immediate dental coverage with no waiting periods or pre-existing conditions.
• PPO plans have deductibles and co-payments but provide more choice. Dental PPO plans generally have a maximum benefit limit per calendar year ranging from $1,000 to $2,500.
  
  PPO plans for individuals and businesses without existing dental coverage will likely have a waiting period for major services and/or pre-existing conditions for 6 months up to a year, based on the carrier.

Orthodontics are not always included, so if this is something you are looking for, be sure it is included and what the benefit is on the plan you choose.
